Antioch Lapidary Club

Welcome Rockhounds! This is the Antioch Lapidary Club's official site! The ALC is located in Antioch, California and is dedicated to education and conservation of our resources. Although our club takes field trips out into the field to collect precious and semiprecious stones, we also make sure to respect both the land and the wildlife that has to share space in the area.

We're constantly under construction, so don't be surprised if things are empty for a little while. Please let us know if links don't work or if you are unable to access a part of our site and we'll fix it up as soon as we can!

The Antioch Lapidary Club’s Rock Sale/Swap and Bar-B-Q is open to everyone interested in rocks, minerals, lapidary and the wonders of nature to buy, sell and trade. Bring your rocks, fossils, gems minerals, jewelry, extra equipment, etc. and do your own “horse trading”. If you wish to set up a table or two, bring them along. No admission charge; fee of $10.00 for sellers. Tailgaters and Sellers please call Gary Casillas (925) 458-4076 to reserve your spot; setup starting at 9:00AM we open at 10:00AM. Join us for a fun filled “rockhounding” day –visit our Rock and Mineral Museum; special games and attractions for children.

The Bar-B-Q will be severed at 12:30PM. Menu: Hamburgers with all the trimmings Potato Chips, and a can of Soft Drink. Cost--$5.00 per plate Hot Dogs with all the trimmings $4.00 per plate.

So, come join us in Antioch for good friends, good food and good rockhounding on Saturday June 6, 2009.
